Blending Tech, Pedagogy, and Content: How Mt Hutt Digital Applies the TPACK Model to Bespoke E-Learning

At Mt Hutt Digital, designing bespoke e-learning for companies isn’t just about making things look sharp and interactive—it’s about finding the perfect intersection between what needs to be taught, how people best learn, and which digital tools make the experience seamless. That’s where the TPACK model comes in.

TPACK in Action
TPACK stands for
Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. It’s a framework that helps us combine:

  • Content Knowledge (CK): the subject matter—whether it's compliance training, leadership development, or technical skills.
  • Pedagogical Knowledge (PK): understanding how people learn best in workplace settings, applying adult learning principles, and designing for engagement.
  • Technological Knowledge (TK): knowing which tools—LMS platforms, mobile learning apps, video tools, simulations—can elevate the learning experience.

Our Process
When designing bespoke e-learning for companies, we:

  • Start with the content: We collaborate with industry experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Build in pedagogy: Every module is designed to be meaningful, digestible, and aligned with how adult learners absorb information—think scenario-based learning, microlearning, gamification, interactivity and spaced repetition.
  • Select the right tech: From gamification engines to adaptive learning systems, we choose technologies that empower the learner and fit the company’s environment.

The Sweet Spot
True transformation happens when all three knowledge domains intersect. The TPACK model allows our team to create custom experiences that aren’t just informative—they’re intuitive, engaging, and built to last.
